Lillhult MFi Lightning Cable 1.5m - $7 (Was $13) @ IKEA

1040

Not sure if it's cheap but seems good value for its length and it's MFi certified.

This is part of Father's Day deals for 2020.

I prefer this - just got one and it works well (MFI certified, too)

      No comparison in price !

      • True but it means I don't need 3 separate cables on my desk.

        • It's not supporting fast charge and will charge on your desk forever (I mean a much longtime).
          Compatible vs speed.

I have this as well for the car. One of the few that allow data transfer enabling android auto and CarPlay on the fly

This is good and durable. Rarely on sale though

  • Thanks OP!
    Just ordered 5 & postage was $9.
    Cheers

  • How much lightning ⚡can it conduct?

  • Great cable! Thanks

  • Nice cable but delivery being $9 kills it for me (I just need 1).

  • I'm in Melbourne and it's saying Estimated delivery 11 Sep 2020. Anyone else seeing that? Says they're in stock in Richmond…

    • Same for delivery from Adelaide to Brisbane.

    • I got 18th Sept for delivery.

  • Hopefully this means USB C —> lightning are on the way…

There's a deal for IKEA USB C cables right now, or do you mean Apple?

I don't think they'll ever do that - it's the main thing stopping me.

I think the iPhone 13 (or whatever they call it) will be portless.

      • USB C to lightning is Apple, yes.

      • I don't think they'll ever do that - it's the main thing stopping me.

huh? The iphone 11 range comes with a USB-C charger, and USB-C to lightning cable. That is what 0jay is referring to (not referring to Apple replacing lightning with USB-C).

USB-C to lightning cables (a cable with USB-C on one end and lightning on the other) already exist.

        • I was saying I don't want lightning.

          • @giventofly: I know. I understand exactly what you are saying. (And, FWIW, I completely agree with you!) But that is not relevant to what 0jay is talking about.

I'm just pointing out that you have completely misunderstood what 0jay is saying.

There's a deal for IKEA USB C cables right now, or do you mean Apple?

Neither of those things: 0jay is not talking about IKEA USB-A to USB-C cables, and 0jay is not talking about Apple replacing lightning with USB-C.

0jay is talking about IKEA making a usb-c to lightning cable, like the Apple ones that come with iphone 11.

            Understand now? :)

(FWIW, I agree with you that Iphone will move to portless, and never adopt USB-C.)

  • I wish Ikea had cheaper delivery for smaller items. $9 isn't competitive

    Melbourne life!

    • +1

I agree, I don't mind stopping by in person when I absolutely have to but that's not exactly an option any more.

  • I'm getting $49 shipping to Metro Melbourne, how is everyone getting $9?

    • lockdown costs.

  • Just spoke with a rep - it’s definitely mid September delivery. Boo.

  • Telling me it's out of stock for delivery (VIC)

In Sydney so can still visit the store to buy one, but I don't really want to walk through the Ikea maze and potentially catching Covid-19 just for one cable.

In stock @Canberra. Interestingly, I tried Click n Collect and there was a $5 admin fee.
Think I'll drop in on the way past instead…

  • Does this works with apple car?

Tried couples of different brands but no luck.
