KN95 5-Ply Face Masks 10 Pack (TGA Approved, Made In Vietnam) - $19 + $7.90 Delivery @ Zebra

7240

Hello OzBargain community.

Two days ago someone made a strange decision to post about our company on this website. It caused quite a shocking surprise to us this morning when we saw the amount of orders received! We are now working around the clock to fulfil those orders.

As a follow-up, we thought the OzBargain community would be interested to check out our newly arrived stock. This face mask is also TGA certified and Made In Vietnam, as we believe it is important to provide quality-assured PPE for our customers. Please be aware that the market is prevalent with counterfeit and uncertified masks made with subpar material, especially on Ebay.

The efficiency of KN95 is equivalent to N95 (USA standard) which contains 5 layers of filtration material (most others only have 4 layers). We have set our product at a very good price point considering its quality.

We hope we continue to be a favourite vendor amongst this community. Our prayers also go out to those in Victoria. Stay safe.

Thanks,

Tyler

Its just a job and a good one. Not a hero. Im not in the epicentre (VIC) so haven't had to deal with it for a while - but earlier in the year was all action in my unit. Would love for the non believers to walk through an ICU and see the devastation it can cause.

EDIT: It's the nurses looking after the patients who are the real heroes. Spending more time than anyone at the bedside

Made in Vietnam (and the boss is Chinese)

  • Shocking at number of negatives.,…

What's so shocking, given the moderator's note and some of the comments?

      • Yeah… I feel lucky not ordering the masks from that "company".

  • Just received a shipped notification with sendle tracking (had ordered when the deal had just gone up). Hopefully the masks make it through before the virus does.

    • Or maybe, the masks are the virus!

      ;)

    • Mask might not do anything if it's a fake. The TGA approval doesnt match the product.

  • Have received no email alert that item sent.

Has anyone received a notification/confirmation that items in this post or the other post (4-ply surgical masks) have shipped?

I have just been given a Sendle notification that package has been “dropped off” at Hubbed location.

    • Yes, I received my notification that they were shipped yesterday and received them today (Sydney)

      • Can you report back on what the quality is like / review it once you open them?

        Still undecided about buying

        Thanks in advance 😂

          For their other masks

Seems sus. No box, could be any mask for all we know.

          No trust in the seller

          • -1

            @8azinga: That's not what I'm asking for.

Not the company. Not other masks.

            They have obviously delivered.

If these Kn95's are just as good as any other on the market, then these are the cheapest at present.

            • -2

@nismo: 8azinga is seriously trying his best to find every little thing wrong with OP and his masks. His mind about OP was made up well before the masks were even delivered.

There are many mask deals on OB which have been posted without boxes without any complaint. 8azinga has consciously ignored this.

I agree. Masks were purchased. They were delivered. Can’t believe so many people called this a scam.

              • +1

@Phil22: I dont see every post. This one was clearly sus from the start. TGA Martha approval doesnt even match the product. Which ones didnt come with boxes? I dont read through every comment on other deals so I didnt even know previous masks had been sent without packaging.

Who has had these delivered so far? Sleepycat said he got the other masks delivered.
And without any packaging, how do you know they are fake?

                • -1

@8azinga: Masks were purchased. Masks were delivered just like any other deal. That’s all I have to say.

                  • +1

@Phil22: Nobody has said they have got these masks delivered yet have they?

                    • -1

@8azinga: Well yes Sleepy Cat has for the other masks. So are you saying this deal is dodgy/scam but the other deal is not? Doesn’t make sense. So yes, masks have been delivered notwithstanding the fact that only a handful of purchasers are actually going to comment on OB.

                      • @Phil22: I already said sleepcat got the other masks but nobody has received these KN95 so we dont know if they are real or fake yet. I never people wouldnt get their masks. I suspected that the masks are fake or are not is advertised.
                        See my comment here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/9090088/redir

There are suspect things with this deal. Approvals dont correlate, the rep doesnt respond to any questions but is reading the comments as he is updating his website after seeing comments on here. Without the packaging, there is no way to know what specifications these meet. Clearly cant trust the website as that info is wrong. The ARTG approval for this deal says a a 4 ply mask but his description says 5 ply.
The OP is the first zebra deal said he hasd beem buying from them for a few weeks but the website had only been live for 10 days. You dont think that is sus?

                        • -1

@8azinga: Lets not make assumptions on whether they are fake or not. Lets wait until people start receiving their KN95 masks. I don't support OP. I don't believe OP has the best business practices. However, I don't make assumptions.

                          • +1

@Phil22: They're not assumptions. It's a fact that the TGA approval states a 4 ply mask, Zebra is selling a 5 ply mask for this deal

            • @nismo: Read the comments before yours. Ahara was asking about these OR the OTHER marks. Sleepycat responded saying he had recieved notification and also recieved other masks today.
I just linked to his post for the other masks. I dont think sleepcat bought these ones. If he did, he probably would have commented about these like he did with the other masks.

              • +1

@8azinga: Ppl sorry for confusion I caused. It seems seller is shipping something so I was wondering if it’s happening for others as well.

Let’s see what arrives and hopefully others will post a video or screenshot.

I plan to do so like I promised (and eat it ;) )

                • @ahara: If the masks are good quality. You don't have to eat it. We are all humans. We understand :)

            • +2

@nismo: My masks arrived today (took 4 days only) and am happy with the speed of delivery to Melbourne.

I don't believe any Chinese KN95 masks are as good as N95/P2 masks. Too many mass produced KN95 fakes in the world to be able to tell whether the KN95 you buy are fake or genuine. And yes, the KN95 all have ear loops, not head straps. If I truly need a mask to protect me from a confirmed case of COVID-19, I would use the genuine N95 masks that work provides for me.

However, I do think these KN95 masks have a role in providing better protection than plain surgical masks or cloth masks. The masks I received seem comparable to the KN95 masks that Bunnings are selling individually wrapped for about $4 each, so to answer your question, this company is selling comparable KN95 masks for just over $2 each (I bought 40 for $45.90 delivered), and delivered to me within 4 days (the package came from Randwick, NSW) and I am happy with the purchase in this respect. I can't comment on the claims made by the company on their website however or why (Quote: "Zebra is Australia's top supplier of industrial workwear and equipment")

I plan to use these masks whilst going shopping in the supermarket.

              • @Riker88: Awesome. Thanks for the reply. That's all I needed to know and have a similar use case.

I assume you meant 20 for $45.90, otherwise you got the deal of the century 😂

                • @nismo: Oops, yes, meant to write 20 masks for $45.90

              • @Riker88: Did you cut one open? Just want to know if it 4 or 5 ply?
Their other mask deal, they advertised 4 ply but a MaMan cut one open and it only 3 ply. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/9112258/redir

Was there any packaging or just clear plastic?

                • +1

@8azinga: I’ve provided a link to a video in the other post for the 4-ply 40pack.

No other packaging or labels as per video.

I’ve removed my neg vote as seller provided a product in quantity promised. However I have my concerns on TGA claim. Not trying to be harsh but I cannot validate TGA claim based on packaging and content provided.

Still considering if I should eat one or not based on above TGA concerns :P

                  Have a nice weekend all.

                • +2

@8azinga: Masks have no packaging, arrived together in clear plastic (unlike the Bunnings ones which are individually packaged)

Will cut one up after I have used one a couple of times (carefully so I don't potentially infect myself!!!)

Furthermore, Zebra Industries use Sendle, to deliver.

    However, have read this

    www.productreview.com.au/listings/sendle/q-and-a

    AND
    https://community.ebay.com.au/t5/Packaging-Shipping/Sendle-a…

Which now raises additional concerns about the circumstances surrounding the delivery. Sendle source lowest cost services.

    • I ordered these masks on the 3rd August and they arrived today on 7th August, so no problems with my delivery to Melbourne

  • Sold out on August. And Riker88 you quickly received 4 days later, that is uncommon. With sendle processes.

For Zebra Industries others state did not provide any notification of any delivery for Melbourne, et cetera
    until near late last week.

And other orderers paid same day in Victoria. Including myself.

    • I wouldn't make too many assumptions based off your own experience… Are you in Metro Melbourne or Outer / Regional VIC?

Here's a recent Sendle example of mine (NOT from this company or deal): Mel to Mel was Next Day.

      Copy Paste from Sendle:

      Tracking history
      28 Jul, 10:23am
      Delivered
      Parcel delivered

      28 Jul
      07:54am
      Out for Delivery
Parcel onboard courier vehicle for delivery

      27 Jul, 06:07pm
      Pickup
      Parcel picked up

      27 Jul, 02:51pm
      Ready to Sendle
      Parcel order created.

Meanwhile I've had something take 4 weeks from Syd via AusPost. Generally stuff within Vic comes within a few days for me, sometimes a bit longer (to Metro Mel).

      • Unfair. Only facts clearly based on this purported "deal."

On the otherhand, need items urgently for this pandemic for family.

        • +1

Have no idea what you are talking about..

          • @nismo: I could agree with you but there's no point in both of us being wrong.

  • Massive scam. See my comment in other thread.

    • This is a major concern.

    • Got ours.
Very disappointed — the packaging looks very, very similar to the no-brand, low-quality, made from a "far east Asian country well known for low quality products".
Not buying from this mob again.

  • Have not received. Still waiting.
And unsure how anyone could receive this item in less than 7 days too.
