    I know a lot of the others can fold in half for better portability

        The link only shows it adjusting to the minimum height.
        I don't think that would be considered "portable"

    • If you unscrew the pins, folds flat for portability.

    if your goal is cooling rather than ergonomics, i use these attached to the bottom on my laptop and i'm quite happy with them. make sure you have space on the bottom of your laptop for these where it won't block any ventilation.
