For expecting parents or parents with kids going through teething, this giraffe is for you.
Had one of these for my son. Worked really well for him.

Same goes for a lot of bath toys actually. Rubber duckies are a shocker too!
True, by no means unique to this toy

Just know that if you wash sophie her spots come off.
op, this giraffe is for yourself and your own kid. any responsible parents will avoid this piece of shiiiit.
apparently, the neggers love this giraffe with mould to death.
Your comment was written so poorly it took me 5 attempts to understand.
Thank you. Where would I be without OzParenting 😒
Sophie The Giraffe Teething Toy
Our baby giraffe loved this when she was teething !!!
got sucked into this things but my kids never liked them, maybe because they didn't like dummy too.
6 month old has 2. One for grubby food time and one for playtime. Easy for her to handle and chew adhoc. Expensive but her favourite teething toy by far.
Your kid will chew on anything, however as someone who doesnt own a kid if you give this gift you will be #1 at the baby shower… get in early. be the first sophie gift giver….
- Written by a 30yo man who has a million friends having babies around him.
fyi just bought $150 worth of sophie the giraffe gifts…
+1; Sophie is also my go-to present for friends having babies
This thing is no better than expensive landfill, don't believe the hype.
Generic rings with water in them that can be placed in the fridge to be cooled down are better.
I think there's a special WTF facial expression that goes with taking this giraffe out of the box. It doesn't get better from there.
Where did this hype come from?
In France, this is a perfectly normal, boring toy that costs $2. Why are they so popular in Australia?
Gotta love the OzBargain comments..
Firstly, the price is RRP, im sure i paid $25, maybe less, from 'Toys r us' before they closed the B&M stores..
Secondly, Sophie is made from natural rubber, if you prefer you're kids chew on some toxic plastic from China, be my guest..
My now 3 y/o daughter loved her Sophie when she was teething.
As for the mould comments, Sophie isn't meant as a bath toy, is a teething toy FFS, any kids toy with a breather hole in it will suck up water from the bath & go mouldy, we threw away a big bath duck for that exact reason.
tldr; Great toy, RRP price..
FYI it was $29.99 on Amazon, this $24.71 price is matching Baby Bunting $24.71 sale price. "$24.71 "Was $32.95 You save $8.24".
$24.95 here as well. If you shop around you can pretty much always get Sophie at this price point, hence my RRP comment..
Had a couple of these for two different kids and the experience was both the same - avoid using as a bath toy at all costs and make sure they don't get too wet with drool, as they soon develop black mould inside.
