        Same boat! Got a 1070 but probably will need to upgrade soon haha. With settings down I can get 100-120 reliable on the viewsonic vx2758 though, so with a bit of compromise it still works alright.

    Anyones who has gotten their monitor can you report if any of you has dead pixels? So far 1 problem with the black screen and 1 with multiple red dots. That only makes 2 people with problems.

      I recall someone earlier in the comments having trouble during gaming and they were trying to figure out whether it was a gpu problem or a monitor problem. Dont know what the outcome was

      The sample size isn't big enough. People with issues don't necessary report back anyway.

          There is a big variation on the reps. You'll probably need to wait till Monday. You need to find a rep willing to check with the fulfillment team (I am not sure whether that's the correct name of that team) while you are on the phone.

          Some reps will simply indicate he/she will check with the team and e-mail you back. In that case, you could be waiting for days. 1xxx series orders should be shipped.

          Hopefully, it is due to Dell's fulfillment team not able to fully process 1000+ monitors in one day. I am a bit surprised those 1000+ monitors have arrived. The original schedule for them was mid-late next week.

              @sena86: Hope you'll get a helpful rep Monday. I suggest you ask the rep whether he/she has the ability to check with the fulfillment team right away (while you hold / wait). If the rep says no, try to end the conversation quickly and re-try.

              The fulfillment team definitely knows when your order is suppose to be fulfilled. You just need to find a customer rep who cares. Hopefully, that team hasn't finished allocating that big shipment of monitors and they will do yours Monday morning.

              We are seeing Dell arranging deliveries for the past few days. My understanding was they cannot arrange all 1000+ monitors delivered in a day (which is understandable). While a lot of people seem happy theirs have been allocated. Friday looks like is day 3. Based on the time I am seeing for the other orders, they all looked like they were picked up Friday morning (so they were prepped Thursday). Maybe yours will be picked up Monday morning.

                @netsurfer: Called them up and after waiting on the line for a while, they admitted that I've been skipped over for the current shipment. They couldn't explain why and kept saying that orders are fulfilled in order of purchase date and time but all lies obviously.

                Via email I got this response: "logistics hub awaiting recovery for this order and is expecting 1600 units to be made to be made available for assignment to final delivery".

                Based on that, I'm part of the next big delivery.

                Hope those who received it are enjoying it though.

    - Mixed usage: Equal 5th
    - Office: Equal 7th
    - Gaming: Equal 9th
    - Multimedia: Equal 2nd
    - Media creation: Equal 4th
    - HDR gaming: Equal 8th

    Compared to other monitors:
    - A bit better than LG 27GL83A-B
    - A bit better overall than the LG 27GL850-B
    - Much better overall than the Dell S2719DGF
    - Slightly worse than the ASUS TUF VG27AQ overall, but the Dell might be a better choice

    Yeah you'd have to guess the black uniformity (the only blemish) would be similar to the LG if you averaged over several units. These panels clearly vary a bit between units, especially when they are pushing the limits to get the best response time. In any case it won't affect us too much unless you need to watch a space movie with the lights out.

      hahaha I've got the same trouble right now. I do have an RMA sitting here from ViewSonic for it, but as previously commented it's not really a fault with the monitor. I did just order a PS5 will be ordering a Series X and I have a pretty beefy gaming PC that gets severely underused so maybe dual monitors won't be a bad thing.

      Seems like it will need some manual calibration… which could be a problem if doing it by eye. But it seems to be superior to the LG 27GL850 in most aspects, and cost us a few hundred dollars less.

      have 3 of these in 3 different rooms. Does the job and might need some adjustments depending on how light or heavy your monitor is. I bet they get it for the same price just looks cleaner. You can rip off the yellow tags.

      Appreciate the effort.

      From a very rough calculation, Dell could still have ~150 units yet to be allocated, but with stats 2 weeks apart, that calculation could be way off.

      Tomorrow morning (21/9) will be interesting, assuming Dell still have units yet to ship, there should be a pickup from StarTrack in the morning.

      Hopefully, my calculation is way off and Dell actually has 239 units yet to ship from its AU warehouse.

      Looking at the numbers from lacmac, it seems about 20% of the orders from the 2nd of Sept are still not delivered yet. Hopefully you lot should be getting it within the next couple of weeks, judging by how quick they seem to be shipping out now.

          No, it started with SCS, I'm assuming you're looking on the Dell order status page next to "Package 1". It is actually a link and has been there since I got emailed with my Dell order # (goes to StarTrack page).

          On the box sticker I mentioned, it has the Dell order # only plus a bunch of bar codes. There is no SCH on any of the stickers.

    Just got mine in today but having a bit of trouble setting it up with another monitor. The OSD doesn’t respond when I’m moving the joystick or pressing any of the buttons, but I have yet to get it to receive a signal from my laptop + dock despite it being recognised in Windows display options.

    Tried an amazon fire stick as well but same issues with no control of OSD and no signal displayed on monitor.

    Is the power button on the bottom meant to be mushy and have no click to it?

    Hope I didn’t get a dud, but it’s looking like it

    Manufacture date on box says August 2020 so I assume the batch my monitor is apart of is fresh off the production line; hopefully QC was thorough…

    Got mine dropped off a few mins ago (they called my mobile less than 5mins beforehand so keep an eye on that if you're expecting delivery on the day). I joked to the guy "you must be delivering quite a few of these today" and he gave a look and sigh that said "you have no idea" lol.

    Received mine this morning. No dud pixels, looking good, but I noticed the VESA mounting point is quite recessed relative to the bump underneath it, and I'm having trouble sliding the monitor onto my mount. I don't have any extra washers to elevate the mount against the monitor :(
