Wow $1000 plus vac can make coffee as well ?
It getting like the $1500 plus phones

    • Let them buy it, brings down the cost for people like us in the future. Like flagship phones then followed by budget androids.

Anyone who has this, do you think it's too heavy?

    • The normal v11 is too heavy but they are good enough to replace a normal vacuum.

      • Too heavy but still good enough?

        • +1

Good enough to do the whole house and vacuum carpets properly as well as hard floors.

Convenience of stick vacuums means you tend to vacuum more often which means a cleaner house.

The weight is just a little more than is comfortable can get a bit tiring.

@noise36: I would say you really need to be careful about how you move it. I now feel wrist pain everytime and realize cordless vacuum can cause damage during usage because we cannot always align wrist-the wand-head perfectly and just push and pull.

@Mike Paper: Having to hold the trigger makes it more tiring , and carpet vacuuming is hard work on the back and arms but does work well.

Tried the outsize yesterday at JBs. It’s quite big and a little cumbersome but it’s well balanced and relatively easy to use, considering its size.

That's a very important question - the V11 Outsize, and even the V11 itself, are heavier and bulkier than the earlier models from a few years ago.
The V7 was a good weight and handled easily, must say I don't enjoy using the V11 as much.

We have the regular V11 and we think that is a bit too big - it's mostly the larger bin and coming from a V6 or a V8 there's a big difference. It's a bit more fiddly moving around, especially in the smaller spaces. We'll probably get used to it though…

We ruled out the Outsize because of the bigger head - felt it was overkill, especially for our smaller areas.

I’ve got a v11 outsize and a v7. The v11 is definitely too heavy to be convenient. I don’t use it for quick clean ups like I did the v7, but rather I just do the whole house in one go.

I think if you need the bin size it’s worth it. I have a German shepherd and I can do the whole house without emptying the bin.

Overall it’s still worth it despite the weight

      • Great to see all of the responses. It looks like the feeling is that both eh V11 and V11 Outsize are too heavy.

My V7 is 2.32kg where as the V11 is 3.05kg and the Outsize is a whopping 3.4kg. The V10 is a reasonable 2.6kg as the battery is lighter so maybe I'll look for deals on that.

  • $130 off for using $40 worth of Qantas points. So, roughly a $90 saving.

Not a bad deal, I suppose.

    • 2000 points is ~$12 in gift cards.

      • I was reading on multiple sites that 1000 points are roughly worth $20

  • The most powerful suction of any cordless vacuum.

But other brands are all shit. Dyson has no competition but their vacs are not as powerful as corded.

    • Shark is a good competitor, generally cheaper too.
