Or is the P30 worth it.
No, better get Mate 20 pro for $599 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/545923. Although I've bought mate 20 pro last year for the same price, so I wouldn't say this is a good deal either.
Why buy a Huawei? It has no Google services, and all the US companies are trying to drag it down. Just wait for a good discount on a proper Android (with Google services) phone.
P30 has Google Play.
Are disposable masks worth $1-2 each?
The answer is ultimately yours.
Just moved from IPhone X to Huawei P30 Pro, love it, best decision ever :)

Value is subjective. Huawei make good hardware i'll admit that, but I rely too much on Google Services to really recommend it. The P30 still can use Google services but perhaps look to other Chinese brands like Xiaomi or Realmi for some value.
It is a good deal, I was thinking the same. But recently it is getting more concrete about hacks / spying issue.

I bought it yesterday for my wife because she likes small size phones.
It is actually very good and the perception of quality is quite high.
For the people that doesn't know about Huawei, the P30 series is the last one with legal support of Google Mobile Services, that means that it runs all the android ecosystem apps with no issues or ways around.
Also, all the latest updates will be installed until the latest EMUI 10.1 ( several rounds of updates)
I was deciding between the Pixel 3, in Harvey Norman for close to 500 AUD and the P30, but I pulled the trigger for the huawei because of the multiple quality issues of the Pixel and for the most versatile Camera of the huawei.
As an extra detail, the huawei p30 includes 2 years of local Australian guarantee and Australian changer.
Not sure. Does it?
