''KFC restaurants in Melbourne are experiencing a shortage of chicken amid the city's coronavirus lockdown.
Restaurants in the city have closed or are only open for limited hours, according to the firm's website, because of a supply issue.
"Our chicken supply has been disrupted in Victoria this week and some of our restaurants will only be open for limited hours or may have to close this weekend," A KFC Australia spokesperson said.''

    Panic buying KFC, now that makes sense to me…not toilet paper! Although…one probably needs toilet paper after KFC I suppose…

    They not letting the trucks with chickens through? If nothing wrong with Maccas, Hungry Jack's etc supplies then someone must have stuffed up supply management. Guess they didn't learn from the first lock down.

      It might have something to do with several outbreaks at meat processing facilities limiting supply.

    No classic KFC swap?
    we are out of zinger burgers, want a burger with popcorn chicken intead inside? oh we are out of rolls, want to have the popcorn chicken inside a mini roll? Sorry just realised we are out of pepsi range, want a melted frozen pepsi from the bench?
    Sorry for waiting 10mins for your popcorn mini burger, we have upgraded your chips from medium to large, which we had to do as we were out of medium chip boxes.

    Yes today my Cheap as Chips meal came with Hot and Spicy chicken instead of Original as they had 'supply issues'. I wasn't complaining as I'm pretty sure Hot and Spicy costs more and that's why I don't get it?

    The app wasn't working today either and I was trying to figure out why but this makes sense that they just shut the app down so less people would order maybe.

    This is all advertising for KFC. Last time the guys form busted getting KFC for 20 people, and then a few days later they announced Hot and Spicy. Now this?
