      • whats the diff?

        • free expansion DLC Back To Karkand

        • +3

Sounds like $10 for the DLC to me!

      • allegiance86, please tick the rep box when posting future deals.

I have done it for you this time.

        • +1

          I'm not a rep mate :)

I just meant I know where to find the deals for Limited Edition :D

Check out my last post, it was for PC Case Gear :/

        • +1

          Well you are now!

        • +11

LOL. This goes to show the integrity of the REP tag. OzB mods give it out to people who don't even claim to be affiliated with the company.

        • You said " I have deals on that too :)"

          Don't be misleading. :\

        • ok, apologies allegiance86. I misunderstood your statement I have deals on that too :).

        • Sturmeh, he meant he has the website with the cheapest deal on the LE. Based on the price quoted, it's not actually this one.

      • I don't see the LE on the site, how do we buy it?

      • May I ask where you got the LE from?

        Thanks

      • cheapest i could find is from cdkeyport…. but they reckon it's russian, and they are not sure until the shipment come :( any other place selling similar price ?

  • +4

I bought a CoD Black Ops key from one of these sites. Though it was very cheap, there were quite a few hoops to jump through; giving my account details to Russians so they could activate it from Russia, downloading and installing an unofficial Russian to English patch. It worked nicely (despite being a mediocre game) however I would probably not want to go through that again.

By buying this key, could it be guaranteed that I wouldn't have to go through something like that? How can they guarantee it? How do they know what EA's going to do at release. And how do I know I can trust them to refund the money if it turns out -oops- EA is actually not letting this game be region free, I can only access it from Russia.

    • +8

stop complaining, someone will post a cheap flights to russia deal if that happens and we can all group buy

      • +24

We can move to the Ural mountains then secede and create Ozbargistan. Hopefully we won't end up getting invaded like Georgia.

        • +3

Hahahahaha Ozbargistan…I think I love you.

  • Cheaper than the rest of the cdkey websites, but never heard of cdkeysmarket.com before, has anyone bought anything from them without issues?

  • +2

The proprietor of CD-KeysHere made an announcement for buyers of the Bf3 cd-keys that EA Games have taken the multi language files out of the Russian copies of the game — meaning that if you buy a Russian CD key your game will быть в России.

You can download the additional language files here:
    http://cdkeyshere.com/files/bf3.html

  • rep can you confirm if your limited edition is from russia?
    dealing with language packs suck…

  • +2

at last cheapest price, thanks i'm getting this

    • Cheapest is from Bigpond Games, $80,but you can use four $20 vouchers which was 5$ each from http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/55004,

Bought mine this Friday, get the key instantly, just waiting for 28th Oct to activate the key. (BTW, if you download the preload file from GameArena, it is not counted in your bigpond quota. )

      • Expired, so it's not the cheapest.

      • Damn I wish I thought of doing that. :(

Of course, one of the reasons Steam prices items differently in different markets (other than profit) is to enable buyers in those markets with low incomes access to the same games people in richer countries can afford to pay higher prices for.

If people keep abusing this differential pricing system to find the lowest price worldwide, sooner or later Steam will notice that their policy isn't maximising profit. At that point they'll change the practice and people in Uzbekistan will no longer be able to afford games.

Just something to keep in mind while you're gaming the system.

    • Of course, one of the reasons Steam prices items differently in different markets (other than profit) is to enable buyers in those markets with low incomes access to the same games people in richer countries can afford to pay higher prices for.

      Really.
Americans and the Brits ALWAYS get cheaper prices than Aussies. So from steam's point of view, we're loaded and they're pov?

      • Wow, people seem to be totally missing my point (I was wondering why I was getting negged).

I'm not saying they don't get it wrong, and I agree that there's no excuse to overcharge Australia. Today for instance we get to pay $25 for Alice Returns, while it's $15 in the US. Yes that's bloody stupid.

What I'm saying is that if you want people in Somalia to be able to play games, they have to be able to afford them. That won't happen when you charge them a month's wages for a game.

And if you're worried about how much cheaper US and UK are, buy STEAM US codes.

        • +2

Why would people in Somalia want to play Battlefield 3 when Black Hawk Down is happening outside? I guess the new frostbite engine has better graphics than real life.

        • we play war games shooting Somalians that's kinda sad example…

      • +1

Australia's minimum wage is around $15, whereas American's get around half that ~$8. He sorta has a point.

    • +1

Also, remember they don't adjust the pricing according to currency fluctuations. The reason they charge you so much in the first place is because the AUD is usually weaker than the US and Brit Pound.

Right now the AUD is almost on parity with the US — and you're okay with them charging you 20 to 40% extra on all the games you buy through their channel?

      RAGE for e.g

      UK price:
      GBP £ 29.99

      US Price
      USD $ 59.99 » GBP £ 37.73 (+25.81%)

      Aussie price
USD $89.99 >> that's a $30 markup from the American copy. And remember we're not paying in AUD in our transaction either — we're paying in their native currency which effectively negates all currency value differences.

omg how is this so cheap! i wanna buy it but the site looks a bit dodgy.. will this work online?!?! will i be able to play with all my friends????? omg im so excited

        • thanks heaps!!! im so excited

        • allegiance86, can you send me the link for the LE? My contact form is open :)

        • @Allegiance86, got another site?

  • xdefine—@hotmail.com

    Thanks

    • email address failed??

      • It's just xdefine @.

I'm assuming he wrote the - to avoid spam.

      • Nope, it's xdefine—@hotmail.com

        Just double checked it. Thanks

  • +1

Don't buy these dodgy keys. I got a key from a similar site, it worked fine for the first month then EA decided to deactivate my game due to it being from illegitimate sources. I went through EA live chat but there was nothing I could do.

Stick to ozgameshop imo. Cheap and reputable

    • +1

Wrong… If you buy keys without scanned proof, your asking for trouble. But where a reseller can show a scanned key for the purchase, they are legitimate. Reason being, places like Poland and Russia, games are mere dollars to buy as opposed to the hundreds we pay here :)

  • is this a russian key?

  • assuming this is a russian key, cdkeyshere have a quick guide on how to get a free russian vpn (1 day) all you need is an email.

    http://cdkeyshere.com/files/vpn.html

  • +2

There "about us" page is blank. http://cdkeysmarket.com/about-our-cd-key-store
You'd think they could at least write a paragraph about how they are not dodgy.

  • +1

Good price, Cdkey websites are indeed the reason that I still have cash in my pocket!

  • Hey man, just realised that my contact form on OzB is open. You can e-mail me there.

    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/user/53652/contact

    Thanks :)

  • Will most definately be a russian key?

  • +2

The best legit option in my opinion is to purchase your key from amazon US. It's about $50 for the "limited edition". it will stop you from purchasing if you use an Australian billing address do just use any USA address and you can purchase just fine.

You then enter the key in Origin. Mine is downloaded, preloaded and ready to go.

    • Thanks mate, GREAT way of doing it!, Downloading it as we speak plus it means I'll get it on the Origin release (the 25th) not the 27th. :)

    • How did you guys do it? The site won't let me confirm order because presumably it detects that my credit card is from AUS.

  • "Each BF 3 cd key code can be used only one time"

does that mean you can only install it once? If I format my comp I lose the game???

    • No mate, it becomes stored to your "Origin" login details and you can add to any other pc you log in with world wide, much like steam! :)

PS everyone awaiting emails, I'm at work at the mo but will send later on this arvo :)

      • +1

Sorry allegiance86.. I did NOT mean to neg, opersite for all your efforts. + from me.

  • Just bought it…hoping for the best (fingers crossed)

  • +2

This is a good site if you plan on buying cd keys:

    http://www.cdkeyprices.com/

    But BEWARE.
MAJORITY (if not ALL) the keys are Russian. Which means you'll have to do about of file/registry editing everytime there is an update.

This link is $0.50 cheaper? USD$24.50 if i am not mistaken, but you can't order it yet until they confirm BF3 has no region lock.

  • Mods: remove his rep status already…

    • Use the 'talk to mods' forum or the report links so they actually see it. Mods don't read every post.

      • Yeah I reported it after I posted this, can't delete posts though.

  • +4

Okay I have just taken a look. OP is based in Queensland (under his location profile, also verified by IP address), but CD Keys Market is operated from Russia so I'm fixing up the Rep flag for now.

Most of these CD keys shops are based overseas in Russia, India or Turkey — so do take care when you are making purchases online :)

  • Can you post the link for the LE edition now that you are no longer displayed as a rep?

    • 1st link is OUT OF STOCK!
It won't let you checkout :'(
2nd link, is that LE or not :(?

      • +1

1st link you need to wait. they want to make sure it's available in english and no region lock.

  • +1

CJS CD Keys have the standard edition for $31.66 (You get a scanned image of the game disc with the key on it) - I've bought from them before, they're really good. And if you ever have an issue with them you can rant on their facebook (they take that pretty seriously to avoid scaring potential customers away). I haven't had any issues with them though.

Not a rep, I just like them for the good customer service / relatively cheap prices. I got BC2 from them back in the day, and then more than 5 friends also bought from them. We still play it today, no account issues or any of that sorta stuff.

    • +1

according to whirlpool CJS only have russian keys, that's why everyone requested refunds.

I've also bought a crysis 2 cd key from them, and it never worked. their support was a nightmare, never gave me a proper response. i wouldn't buy anything from them.

    • +1

      Just bought it from CJS:
      http://www.cjs-cdkeys.com/products/Battlefield-3-LIMITED-EDI…

      BF3 LE (Russian):
Battlefield 3 Limited Edition base game
Back to Karkand Expansion Pack (access to original battlefield 2 maps)
Physical Warfare Pack with early weapons
      Skins pack
      Dogtag Token Pack

      Final Cost $41 USD

Took 15mins for their autokey thingy to update, got the keys, redeemed them on Origin, and downloading @700KB/s. No problems so far!

  • +1

Would be great for someone who purchase to confirm this is working :)

Personally I bought from Zavvi (or was it the Hut?) for around $45 for a boxed Limited delivered, but now I have the agonising week long wait… :)

  • Sorry if this is off topic, but does anyone know of a website where I can buy a Football Manager 2012 key for cheap? I've looked through all of the ones selling BF3 but nothing has come up.

    • +1

Here's the one tnx25 posted, you can check any game: http://www.cdkeyprices.com/

      • Thanks for the link, although the prices I found are more expensive than the steam price! Going to bookmark the site for future games though.

  • The site was created in July. Reputable? Lol hardly…..

    • Thanks a lot :]

    • +1

Have you got your CD key yet?

      • Unfornately I have not :( will keep you updated . They did send me an email saying to be Parker and it will be delivered on the 25th.. Hopefully they send it tonight

        • I bought of their last night… i emailed him and he sent me my key straight away. Might want to email them if it takes more than 2 hours (like he said)

The keys work fine and my games are installed and playable.

        • Ordered the standard edition a couple of days ago. No key yet :(

        • Bought the standard edition…no key yet for me too..

        • Got it! Had to email them first. Check your spam folder, that's where mine ended up!

Will try when I get home.

        • Got mine too. Except ITS TAKING AGES TO download. It says Russia Extended edition.

          IT works though.

Im getting around 80kb which is a pain. is there anywhere i can dl an iso or msi installer from an aussie server perhaps?

      • Really regretting buying from them. emailed them, they replied they gonna send in 5 min. that was 3 hours ago :(
