I placed a click and collect order for a Ring Fit back in March. It was originally suppose to be available on the 30th of April, but every few weeks the release date gets pushed back. I have emailed customer support, but I never got a response. Last time I checked the release date was sometime in August, but I just checked today and it says it was processed a week ago. Does this mean that it is available in-store for pickup now, or does it mean that they are preparing to ship it to the store? I tried calling the store to ask them, but no one answers. I'm not sure if they are even open now, with the lockdowns (I live in Melbourne). And usually when I order from them, they send me an email when the order is ready.
The whole situation is especially frustrating because EB are selling Ring Fits at a higher price than anywhere else. I only bought it from them because they were the only ones that let me preorder. I was willing to pay a higher price for a guaranteed April pickup date. Now it seems like every other store has got them in stock, while EB has a backlog of over 4 months for preordered copies. I even had to pay a deposit when I placed the order, so if I buy from somewhere else and cancel my order then I will lose my deposit.
Has anyone actually gotten a Ring Fit that they ordered from EB in the last few months?
