In the market for a colour printer.
My requirements (other than colour printing):
auto duplex
fast (< 2 mins to print 50 pages)
affordable toner / ink
budget around $500
What would you recommend?

Brother MFC-L3770CDW has fantastic reviews and can be found <$500.
This is the one to get, but good luck finding stock. I've been trying to get this printer for the last month and it was initially due in at the end of this month, but now 4-8 weeks from most places.

Yes anything 'home' office has been sold out. My local officeworks is half empty last time I went there. All the chairs are gone even the display ones. Same for desks, printers, webcams you name it!
Even the cheap notebook/laptops are all sold out with the kids home schooling etc.
Some things are starting to come back into stock again though.
My friend also has this and is very happy with the performance too. Although he does comment time and again about if this one had a scanner too….

I just realised that my HP Colour Laser Pro MFP M177fw is actually still working (troubleshoot it and it is actually ok) - but pricey toner!
Do you guys buy genuine toner or?
Don't know specific models but Brother laser printers are highly recommended everywhere.
