Here is what I commented last time:
“ Yeah I have this. There is a design flaw in the light. The smallest, hardest to find switch ever made. I often have to use my phone as a light to be able to turn on the night light.

The charging part works fine with my iPhone 8. But damn…the button on the light is awful. I can often trace multiple circles of the light trying to find it.

How hard would it be to make it boppable. Bop light on. Bop light off.

I’d hazard against buying this if you like things that are easy to use.”

Still relevant but now with added loose USB connector.

    • You should have one Xiaomi sensor night light on the side of the bed.

I dunno if more Xiaomi bedside lights is the answer here man.

    • This is my problem with the 'map' lights in cars. It's always the only switch that isn't illuminated and the one you ONLY need BECAUSE it's dark.

    • true about the switch.

    • About the button: I really don't know what is the difficulty to find it. The lamp is small. I put the tip of my fingers around it and can find the button an instant.

It's got a small led light that stays on when it is charging. My wife hates it.

Also, my beside table is metallic, so it only worked once I placed it on top of a book

ya … strange … could have done a little wait … thats very hasty move ….

      • That one says 15W this one says 10W so I'm confused

Works ok, bigger phones are harder to align. Light has Cool light and Warm light modes. I ran it on warm for about 24hrs off a full charge - really surprised on that runtime.

Button is near impossible to find.

  • I have two of this… I agree with above comments but they are not a concern to me. I keep the light on throughout the night so it's not an issue for me for the hard to find switch since I turn it on before I turn my room lights off.

  • The phone charger turns off after the phone reaches 100%, so if you charge it overnight, the phone won't be at 100% by the time you wake.

    • That's not a bad thing apparently. Continuing to charge at 100% degrades the battery.

      • +1

Sure but it's also inconvenient - it should at least be smart about it and trickle charge

Since I'm using it as a nightstand charger, it follows that I'm needing my device to be fully charged for the next day. If I were using it as a desk/office charger, the current approach would be more reasonable.

      • Your phone should handle this rather than the charger.

    • Charger turns off once at 100% (annoying when you wake up expecting 100%).
    • Doesn't charge consistently (can't trust it to start charging without fiddling and confirming the charge icon is on).
    • Button isn't that hard to find but is small.

I wouldn't buy it again. It's in the spare room for guests.

  • It's a bit of a weird product. I don't see why they had to combine a wireless charger with a bedside light. The whole thing is quite large, making it harder to place. The light works well and has a pleasant bright light, but I am not too sure what its use is.
