Used to buy/stock up creative gourmet frozen berries when they are on 50% off but haven't seen them on special recently.
Wondering which frozen berries do you buy esp for smoothies? How much is it?

Is it their "Compliments" brand?
Creative Gourmet come predominantly from Chile so get any of the supermarket homebrands.

Costco has American grown frozen berries (Kirkland brand mixed berries and blueberries). They are great quality and reasonably priced. Better taste than any I have had from Coles/Woolies.
Costco recalls line of Kirkland frozen berries over possible hepatitis A contamination. This happened earlier.
Creative Gourmet berries have also been recalled before.

Why is there so much hepatitis in frozen berries?
Possibly the water used to clean the berries was contaminated or the berries were handled by people with hepatitis that didn't properly wash their hands
Consider buying Australian frozen berries to avoid hepatitis A. Easier said than done, but I’ve found a local supplier.
