Hi everyone
So I'm about to start a course that will be covering the basics of Blender as (hopefully) a path to a Cert IV in game development course next year.
I am looking for a new laptop that will be enough to potentially make a few basic games as well as potentially play some (not at 4k120fps or anything).
The cheapest gaming laptop is ~$1500 on JB's website, but that is a little steep for what I was hoping to get out of it.
I also understand it may be better to simply build a desktop PC for these requirements, although I wouldn't be able to transfer that between campus and home.
Any help is appreciated š
Came in here hoping for some ideas… Been doing some research into this for a friend.
Did find the Lenovo Legion 15 5i: https://www.lenovo.com/au/en/laptops/legion-laptops/legion-5ā¦
and the Lenovo Y540 (which is last years model, has a previous(9th) gen, but higher tier CPU but looks to be better value even though it's more expensive. https://www.lenovo.com/au/en/laptops/legion-laptops/lenovo-lā¦
