At 58c a roll of just 140 sheets the price is very expensive

    • What would be a good price?

      • $12

        • yep im going to wait until it reaches the normal price of $12!

          • @mrshorty: When was it $12?
I remember it being $12.38 at the start of the month, and $12.50 late last year.

Its luxury paper for the finest luxury bums

      • +3

        Good enough for King Tightarse?

        • +6

My bum lacks the sophistication and elegant sensitivity to notice.
Mrs KTA however would probably like it…but then, she would only poop in carbonated water if she could

    • Is that taking into consideration this is luxurious 4ply? (I saw this the other day but also decided 3ply was sufficiently soft for my middle class needs).

More effective than the Aus Government too

  • FML i just ordered this for $18 a few days ago because we are about to run out!!
You last purchased this item on 24 Jul 2020.

    Still too expensive.

I'll wait for it to drop closer to $12. Still working my way through my last bulk order (which I thankfully made prior to all the Covid madness).

Otherwise I'll just revert back to 3-ply.

Bought some of this a few weeks ago. I don't know if I got a dodgy batch but it was somewhere between a good soft roll and copy paper. It was more of a smear then wipe experience. Finished the last roll today. Not recommended. I have never had a problem with Quilton before.

Hey. I'm a carer and completely desensitised to bodily functions. It's hard to always remember others are squeamish.

    • +1

Thought I was the only one. Previous purchase was from Coles in January, some massive 50 odd roll of 4-ply. Definitely noticed the difference.

  • +1

I did some calculation. The 4 plies work out to be 26.5625% more than the 3 plies Quilton per sheet.

    • 4ply is better value then: I'm quite comfortable using two squares of 4ply at a time. but I don't feel safe unless l use three of 3ply.

      • +2

        two squares? Oh nooooooo

      • to cheapsk8 - Not really, I have taken into account of 3 and 4 plies per sheet in the calculation. I should state that the 4 plies cost more per ply.

    • Good maths!

    • If this isn’t the most quintessential OzB post in the history of OzB I’d like to see what is.

  • I'm waiting until they create the diamond version with 6-ply… seriously, the normal version is great, why bother paying premium with this one?

    • +1

      haha. LV toilet paper

    • kinda like razors

need the 10 blade razor, why would u shave with anything less!

      • I was wondering where you were going with regard to razors and toilet paper…

  • +6
    • 45 rolls for $15.74 = 35c/roll
My tight arse likes that better!

    • Thanks ordered one

  • Got the 20 pack double length rolls because I can't be arsed changing rolls that often

  • Bought the 25th of July and still waiting, soon I'll be out of paper and … I'll have to resort to desperate methods
