Boost uses full Telstra network so is compatible with Telstra-locked devices.
SIMs for Telstra wholesale providers (Belong, Woolworths, Aldi etc) may not work
Likely not. Belong is Telstra Wholesale, same as Aldi, Telechoice, Woolworths and others, their corporate ownership notwithstanding. Boost is a different beast and is basically the same as Telstra Retail (Prepaid).
Tried Belong with with Telstra locked Galaxy A20 from a previous deal, it didn't work.

I just made a C&C order. Picking up tomorrow as store will be close in 5mins. Believe I got the last one at the store at 2164. However BigW online says that there is still stock at 2171. Maybe last one there too.

Just been thru this with the Nokia 2.2 sintro. Phone did not accept ALDI sim, asked for unlock code. MAY work with BOOST.
Telstra will unlock but the unlock system during Covid19 lockdown has changed.
1. Go into store, pay unlock fee, get voucher.
2. Ring Telstra, quote voucher, ask them to unlock.
3. Wait
Telstra unlock fees:
$80 < 6 months since activation
$25 6m-24m
$0 24m+
I find on Ebay there are a few shops around Sydney offer the unlock service for sub $20.
However, would unlocking Nokia 2.2 and Nokia 2.3 be similar process?
Only unlocking I could find for 2.2 or 2.3 Is in store the only.

Got the only one at Big W Wonthaggi. Wouldn't sell me the Boost sim cards right there under counter though. Said they weren't allowed too?!!?? Bargain at $99.
Boost will always work with a Telstra locked phone.

Does not compare. A52 is away better phone but costs 3 times as much.

I bought this from Big W last week for the same price as a back up and a chance to play with Android.
Maybe I’m spoiled as as iPhone user, but this phone is so slow to react to everything, I guess you get what you pay for.
That being said, the phone is solidly built, camera and screen are good and it has expandable storage. It also runs Android 10 and should go to 11 sometime after it’s released.
If your needs aren’t huge, then this phone is an amazing deal for the price.

When it says Telstra Locked, would a Belong Sim (which is Telstra network) work on this phone?
