  • I had this pan and ruined it within 12months using olive oil in it to much. Sales person warned me too :P It leached into the diamond coating and damages the non stick.

Would buy again with a stainless steal pan for cooking with oil.

Was good to cook things in the oven too.

Anything with coating, you need to avoid low smoke point oils.

Clicked hoping it was not Teflon/"diamond" coated. I like the small pack up design. Great for camping.

Hilarious that a $400 pan can't survive olive oil. I bet snake oil works on it just fine though, and the same salesman probably has a bottle of it to sell you guys too. He keeps the bottle close by in case he sees you coming.

      • They were sold out of snake oil but I didn’t pre-order some on Kickstarter. They’ve assured me it will ship within the next 36 months.

  • $377 for a pan?!

I fail to see the bargain here.

Not all cheap things are a bargain.

      Not all bargains are cheap.

      • … and $377 pans are neither cheap or bargains.

    • $188 for a pan, it’s a 2 pack ;)

    • Woll is high quality and expensive.

These are brilliant pans! I have four different ones now and they work like a dream. After three years they still work as well as the day I bought them and they’ve had daily use. You can cook an egg with no oil and it slides straight out. Great price, thanks Op!

I suggest you add the brand WOLL to title.

  • So are you not supposed to use oil at all in these pans, or just not low smoke point oil?

    • can use rice oil but the non stick wont last no matter what. i have a woll and a few chinese brand pots. the chinese brands' non stick has lasted much longer!

      • Hmm interesting, been the opposite for me ie Wolls lasted longer than around a dozen other brands including Tefal, Scanpan, Analon, Circulon and cheapies from Woolies/coles/aldi. I use Alfa One Rice Bran oil And the Woll pan was purchased from Costco - not sure which pans in the Woll line they sold, maybe some wolls are better than others?

        • might be my constant use of high heat? or differences in quality? who nkows

I'm not sure about these, but I was spending several hundreds on fry pans every year until we switched to Solidteknics (https://www.solidteknics.com/skillets).

A very similar set here for A$300 (smaller pan is 20cm as opposed to 24cm).
