Someone once called me a folding garage creeper.

    • You're a weirdo-ooh-oh.

These are good but the nuts come loose with use. Need to replace them with nylon nuts or similar.

i just used some loctite when assembling…seems to do the trick too

  • How tall is it when flat? Looks to be a bit too tall to slide under the car when on jack stands

    • +2

Indeed, too tall for sliding under the car. More useful for sitting on. Or for helping move heavy/bulky boxes around.

      • i used it fine with out a jack

        • Mine has about 3cm clearance to the engine undertray so we're obviously working on very different vehicles

The reviews are pretty bad. Seems like it’s poorly made

    • yep, I didn't like mine, it sits fairly high and is fairly flimsy, I would highly recommend getting this one instead when its on special: https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/sca-sca-plastic-garage-c…

      • Yes, I got the plastic moulded one because it is closer to the ground.

Mine has been going strong for many years now although the castor wheels sometimes come loose do I'll have to put some Loctite as mention above.

Other than that it's great, doubling as a chair on wheels is great for working on the car especially if you are detailing it

      • yep…i use it more as a rolling stool when working on my bikes than as a creeper. its pretty handy and can support my 71kg ass with ease

  • Could be used as a makeshift bench press during covid lol

      Your funeral 🤣

        I know right lol
I've used a few other household items in my makeshift gym and survived so far

  • FYI. I paid $19 on clearance at Aldi a few months ago
