Nope just need a few cheap phones to run apps on
Why don't you look on gumtree and you can get an iphone 6 second hand unlocked these days for under $100.
That way you get a real phone rather than a paper weightTrying to start a phone farm and people said these were the best specs/ money ratio.
@CrazyBargainCatcher: Is this to generate income from surveys and similar nonsense?
Maybe you would be better off spending your time at a real job. It's likely to generate far more income.
@lunchbox99: @lunchbox99 nope just for passive apps that dont need much processing power. Basically just set it and forget it
@CrazyBargainCatcher: You could perhaps download the Android emulator (virtual phone) for free and run it on your PC.
@abb: Emulators aren't allowed in the program i want to run
@CrazyBargainCatcher: so tell the emulator not to report itself as an emulator ;)

If you want to run multiple copies of the same app, with different logins for each instance (e.g. multiple copies of the Flybuys app for different Flybuys numbers) then you can use an app like Multi-Parrallel.

@CrazyBargainCatcher: Sounds interesting. Set and forget sounds neat.
Mind sharing how you are gonna achieve this passive income ?
@jackinyourbox: Apps like CashMagnet and AAmusic, with my current 2 phones, I get around $20-25 a month
Just remember to go a flip phone so you can snap it in half when you're done with it.
It looks cooler, when you snap a candybar phone in half. Bonus points if you can throw it in the air and karate chop it.

The cheap burner phones like the ZTE's are really only good for sending & receiving calls & text.
Trying to use any type of app on them is a slow & frustrating experience & you'll want to pull your hair out after a few minutes.
The 2nd problem is that they are locked to a particular network, and it might cost something like $30 extra to unlock them.
It's much better value-for-money to buy second-hand unlocked phones.
you're goddamn right

Try your local Post Office or Colesworth. They often have cheap Android phones for sale.
