yep.
its what happens when you got a recessionWhich school??
School of hard knocks.
It’s the airport. Not many people going there now so they gotta shift stock on short shelf life products.
I hope it's not a trap to end up like this story - https://7news.com.au/lifestyle/health-wellbeing/melbourne-ma…
Maybe its a trap to see how many melbournians turn up without a mask.
So they offer drone delivery service?
They just want us through the front door so they can milk us for all we're worth ……
bit cheesy
but i'll pay thatUdderly ridiculous isn't it
Better get a moove on…..
Quick, dash out to the hotspot for cheap milk!
Serious question (kinda), how much can 1 "normal" human consume in 24 hours??
I don't know about upper limits, but the "GOMAD" diet involves drinking approximately 4 litres per day - hence the name "Gallon Of Milk A Day". Note that it's a bulking strategy for gaining weight/muscle, don't try it unless you know what you're getting into.
Wow, I would poop every 30 mins 😂😭
thanx for this. im tryna bulk bro u lift
Does this milk taste like real milk?
..literally so real its like sucking straight from the cows teat
Not really since it's lite. Tastes more like a watered down version of real full cream milk. The blue packing is deceptive - should have been closer to pink.
i guess this lite milk fills the market for lite AND skim homebrand lol
Any other stores?
Ive seen them do this at Woolworths surfers paradise. If all the stock on shelf has like 1 day of expiry. They may of messed up and restocked before taking special off
I seen that too but those in this deal are fresh
It’s a trick they do to be manipulative pricks. When you see it reduced to clear you know it’s almost expired. But if they make it look like a regular special you don’t check the expiry
What are you talking about? You can see the expiry in the picture and in the text… it's fresh.
@jkim: this fresh…?

Milk was a bad choice
Looks like someone did an oopsie…
When I see clearance prices like this on fresh products (not a day or two before expiry), I can’t help but wonder has the pallet been left out of cold storage for too long on delivery or something.
has the pallet been left out of cold storage for too long on delivery or something.
No.
There are strict rules to follow and if they aren't the product won't be sold.Do you think Coles would rather throw away bad milk or sell bad milk and receive fines plus pay lawsuits/compensation
True, I’m not implying that they are selling food not adhering to food regulations/standards. But there is a point where the cold chain is broken or not broken. I don’t know what it is for milk. But say it is 2 hours; it may have been out for 1 1/2 hours. It meets the standards, but may have reduced the length of life. I would be interested to know from someone who works in the supermarkets. Maybe they over ordered.
In this scenario, I would say that someone at store level messed up and may have triggered the system to order a whole pallet or an excessive amount of this milk. I highly doubt that the cold chain would've been broken, perishable goods are monitored closely and go from the truck straight to the coolroom no dilly dally.
Is this a trick question?
I'll pick the latter.….either way they shouldnt cry over any wastage or spillage
Mate I've seen mouldy chicken in Coles (Merrylands, NSW) being sold as a clearance item instead of being thrown.
Airport. No one flying in so have too much stock.
And then the Government will reprimand people for not using common sense by driving 1.5 hours just to get cheap milk.
This milk could be our milk
Not bad, add milo for about 5c cheap chokkie milk
.-o this only happen during Lockdown right ? I will show this to my kids 20 years later.
WTH…Is this pre WW2 pricing?
