This is the best deal I have seen for a while, I was surprised that they still have stock. I think it's perhaps leftover stock from the Black Friday deal last year.

Has been selling regularly for $379 to $399 on Ebay since April this year.

Don't be confused about the models here - these are the mid-range brushless tools, not the cheaper entry level ones. The prices if you were to buy individually from Bunnings (which we obviously wouldn't do) are:

Total = $836.

Stock says limited availability but my order just dispatched from the Brisbane location. Not sure about other states/stores.

Edit: Appears as though there may be minimum order quantities in some states and it' showing as out of stock in others. Still appears to be stock in Brisbane.

Edit 24/07: Sold out in all states.

      Did you see it as a 5ah battery plus a 3ah battery originally?
      I think it got changed in the background to be a 4ah and a 2ah now…. Is it right?

        I ordered 2 from Perth to Adelaide through the Regency Park (SA) store (delivered to my house).

        They would have done 1 also, no need to get 3.

    I tried ordering online to my house delivered, or my local store and got the minimum 3 issue (i'm in NSW but only just)

    Tried ordering one to QLD to a friend, and got "unavailable to this postcode" so I called my local store and they were able to order one in. Perth is the only place with stock, he said there is about 14 left (13 now!) so if you are keen get on the phone to your local store ASAP.

          I believe you. Like I mentioned above, I got mine for $200 last time, so $150 is a good deal for a discontinued stock. $279 is just RRP.

    (Bosch 18V 5.0Ah Li-ion Cordless Brushless DBR-2 2 Piece Kit) Very similar price.

    This Bosch kit not only has two batteries but also a tool bag. I know they are not worth much but just want to know your opinion on the powerfulness, easy-to-use, performance as well as the Brands between these two sets.

      Looks like older models, but still the heavy duty versions. Pretty good deal I'd say.
      The ergo is a different, dewalt handles are more square to the axis of the drive, bosch handles are more angled.

      ah that sucks. Their customer service was pretty poor to be honest. Their system couldn't tell whether items had been paid for or not and they didnt call to check.
