At least you haven't paid $1K to Lenovo who sell you a laptop supposedly in stock and then change shipping date from 2 weeks to 3 months.
I ordered from Rivers 3 times in the past and didn't have any issues.
However I had issues twice with David Jones. And DJ were absolutely terrible to deal with and their customer service was appalling.
I have sent details of my complaint to riversaustralia, let's see what will happen next.

If you read their reviews on productreview, you will find the past is in the past, the Rivers
is not the same Rivers now. Most of the complaints are concentrated within the recent months. That is why order now is more risky.
Avoid them as the plague! Rivers are Robbers!
8 days ago, I requested partial refund for an order I made 1 month ago, because only half of the items were delivered. They simply turned a deaf ear on it. That means they don't care the honour of business anymore. They took full amount of money for that order, but only give me around half of the items. They 'sold' a lot of items they didn't have at all. What is the difference between Rivers and robbers? Both of them steal money!
