Is this fare for students or public in general?

    • This fare is for everyone, they will Clearly mention if its only for students.

  • garuda too!

You mean the all-new Garuda - SkyTrax 2010 World's Most improved Airline!!!

So guessing - or you know that?

By looks of this, and given only one possible EU destination, you are probably correct:
      http://www.bestflights.com.au/cheap-flights/phone-flights-re…

So stopovers possible in Bali, Jakarta and Dubai.

      • +2

It's funny, amsterdam has a reputation of being stoner central, yet you can stopover in three places in the world where you DON'T want to be caught with the green stuff!

There are no rules and no restrictions and the onus is always on enjoyment.

This is patently false, especially for foreigners, and you should remove this line. Amsterdam is one of the most controlled of Europe's major cities. I lived there for quite some time - it's a beautiful, beautiful place and I would go back in a heartbeat. But there are most definitely many rules, and many restrictions. It's not a free-for-all.

    • +6

In the above context ie on studentflights, that line is meant to read "If you like partying, sex and drugs, then you'll LOVE Amsterdam" - you've lived there, you should know ;)

      • +4

Well, what it's meant to say and what it actually says are completely different things. The reason the pot scene in Amsterdam is being limited so severely is because foreigners are descending on the city with exactly this attitude.

    amsterdam?

i say- pass the dutchie on the lefthand side…. pass the dutchie on the lefthand side

  • Anyone know the dates for the cheap prices? I tried calling but their hotline is closed since 6pm

great deal and sure to have a great time in amsterdam, all that greenery mmm

  • +2

They are crap, tested them over 10 times. never give that rate what they advertise for..
Always do a call back and quote 500 + than the price they advertise..
Also asked them give me that price and i have no preference on the dates, answer was that price is not available.
Wonder if they been reported ever?
    Personally wont even bother

    • Student Flights are a subsidiary of Flight Centre, that's why you never get what they are advertising-as is typical of the parent company.

Well you know, in Amsterdam, you can buy beer in a movie theatre.
And I don't mean no paper cup either.
They give you a glass of beer, like in a bar…

    • what do they call a QuarterPounder with Cheese in Paris?

      • A gayguy with cheese

    • You've never been to the Westgarth in Melbourne? Lots of the smaller and independent cinemas serve beer.

    • In Japan you can buy alcohol in vending machines pretty much everywhere.

      • sounds a bit dangerous for a beer can to be coming out of a vending machine…

        • in that case, every corner store also sells it.

    • You know you can buy beer in Australian theatres too…

Most if not all euro Village theatres let you buy beer, and the girls even let me take all mine in with me.

But then who hasn't been sneaking drinks into theatres… Lady friends with handbags ftw!

  • I've seen chicken soup for sale over here in Target where you pull the ring and it heats up.

I ain't never tried one myself because my girlfriends a vegetarian… which pretty much makes me a vegetarian…
