Vodafone TV / Android TV - Hulu App Stuttering

Hi all
I know the Vodafone TV is popular here - that's why I bought one
It is the best 'smart device' I have used inc android box and Telstra TV

Issue I have is with the Hulu app
I have sideloaded the current (?) Android tv Hulu app - but it stutters and pauses
Basically sound continues but picture freezes for a moment - then goes live - then pauses - and repeat
Sideloaded Prime App does not

I did Google and appears it might be an Android TV vs Hulu app problem
Does anyone have a solution?

      This will work for sure but would rather have a working VTV app

    I thought Hulu was an American thing. I wasn't aware that we could use it in Australia.

    the latest july update appears to have broken it :-( so i reverted to the june update instead which still works fine. don't use the app specific for AndroidTV though, just the regular app. it does mean that you'll need a separate input device as it doesn't interact very well with the Voda remote.

    are you using aptoide to side-load or something else?

      Yep that seems right - I will try deleting and installing an older version

    I was using an older version of Hulu as the new interface version was giving me same problems.
    It's obviously a VTV problem as my MiBox doesn't have the same issue.
