Upgrade path for GPU later. Fortnite and School work.

If you can stretch your budget further and get the Couger QBX for $79 instead, you'll be much better off. That H100 has pretty bad thermals.

    • Or the thermaltake V1 would be my pick.

      Ditch the aftermarket cooler

      Why need the network adaptor?

      • "Why need the network adaptor?" Not everyone has access to Ethernet

        • What?

        • Then why put 2 ethernet ports on it?

  • The nic, I think its using realtek, and not compatible with Linux, Unix, freebsd, etc, if you ever intend using one.

Why not using the motherboard lan?

  • why the extra NIC? that TP-Link TG-3468 PCIe x1 1000 Mbit/s Network Adapter will use the slot for your "upgrade path" for the GPU later or am I missing something?

  • Definitely swap the case. NR200 is a good ITX case but more expensive and has more airflow.

I wouldn't bother with a 3.5 HDD. Spend a bit more and get a 1 or 2tb ssd. You also have the option for m.2 nvme later on.

  • I would put a bit extra into getting 3000mhz or 3200mhz memory

roughly $20-30 can get you that at 2x4gb sticks like I did not too long ago. If you don't need low profile it can be a bit cheaper too

Ryzen scales well with ram speeds

you don't need a wired network card when your motherboard already has Gigabit LAN.

DDR4-2400 memory is going to bottleneck your Ryzen processor pretty hard. you should purchase 3000mhz kit but be aware your A320 motherboard may not run it at the full speed because of chipset limitations — maybe consider a B450 motherboard at least.

Perhaps the OP was thinking of a wireless adapter?

  • OP, may I ask what you planning to do with the system? Also can you provide us with a budget?

as far as first builds go I would not recommend a mini-itx usually. they are fiddly and a pain in the butt to install even for those that know what they are doing. each time I do one I swear I won't do it again, though admittedly NZXT H1 I did last week was one of the easiest I have ever done it was still awkward though. not sure how the H100 is for the builder.

H100 is terrible from the Optimum Tech review video I saw. The ATX PSU bracket sticks out from the rear of the case, presumably because Cooler Master don't make SFF PSUs. I reckon OP should stick to matx or atx.

I would skip the CPU cooler and just use the stock fan.

    otherwise good build.
