Buysmarte Has Increased Their Prices to Try to Sell a Membership

Buysmarte increased their price on a Samsung Q95T from $3399 to $3599 overnight and put the $3399 behind a pay wall. I was looking to buy this last night but now I won't be.

The pay wall (membership) price is $19.95 and says that it is usually $99 but I think this is a FOMO lie. If they charge more than a yearly Amazon subscription I doubt they'll get many if any subscribers.

    Why on earth are you considering buying a $3,000+ item from a random online website with no physical store that might disappear tomorrow causing you potential warranty/repair issues in future?

    Having said that, there's nothing wrong with them choosing to change their prices or introduce a membership discount. They're entitled to as we are to take it or leave it.

    I use them to get a price match/beat at JB/GG/HN/etc. - wouldn’t actually buy from them for the above reasons.

      Do places like that honour online price matches or will they try to get as close as they can to them?

    Just buy elsewhere if you aren’t happy with their price or how they operate. Videopro has it for $3,370 anyway.
