    Hiplok wearable bike lock

    How does that work?

So you need to stay with your bike when you lock it?

    • it's so that you can store the lock around your hip, and then use it when needed..

      • I store my lock on my bike, that way I don't have to carry it around when I don't need it…

Only Cyan at this price not pictured lock + $12.50 shipping

Lock your bike. Pants fall down.

    • best way to keep ppl away

    • No pants - problem solved.

  • What if I have a beer belly?

      You still have a neck.

  • Look like a collar for a girl…

    • You sick sick man

  • I have the superbright set of these and very happy with them. Great as you can wear them over a shoulder and include reflector.

I wanted a kryptonite lock but wouldn’t fit easily on quicycle and this is solid chain and next best option I could find. Think I paid about $60 and was best price I could find at the time so this is competative.

Edit: I think mine is slightly longer version, can’t imagine wearing 1kg on my hips.

Shipping is $12.50 for me. But I had to think of fake details to create an account before I could find out. Why can’t you just tell us upfront???

    • apologies - Ill add that to the info

I really don't get the "wearable" part of this deal. Isn't this lock eventually going to get filthy like every other bike lock in this universe? How are you supposed to wear it on top of your clean clothes? And what's wrong with storing the lock on the actual bicycle, while not using it?

    • you can store it on your bike, and the sleeve can be taken off and washed if it gets dirty

I have one of these, the yellow one. Owned it for a few years and it’s fantastic. I paid $70.
I also own a krypto and much prefer the hiplok for casual rides.

  • A bike lock as a fashion accessory. Interesting. Idea.

  • waaaay better than your metal bike pump if push comes to shove, just bought it. hope the cyan works with the colour of my eyes.

Just be aware that the total length of this lock is only around 80-85cm for the locking mechanism!

On larger frames, thick poles, and midframe mounts it is unlikely you'll be able to lock your front wheel and frame!

I don't use mine anymore for this reason because many of the lockable areas were poles and leaving a front wheel unlocked for hours is asking for trouble in Melbourne these days.

  • Just double checked same as mine. They are great, I never had a problem with getting dirty and can sling it over the shoulder and comfortable. Not light as suggested but certainly gets the compromise between strength and weight right plus superbright version acts as reflector when u wear it.

  • OP, any chance you can do $39.95 for the superbright? It's the only colour I really like

    • wish i could sorry - theres hardly any of them left and they are very popular. Thanks anyway!

  • Is it me or 100 RRP for a bike lock is tad bit expensive…even $50 is way too much anyway bmaybe the quality is better in these

    • the prices include delivery, and yes this is a high quality, unique lock
