Fair call, but maybe in this economy some people would rather the discount.

You have to give thumbs up to TPG/Voda or Telstra for giving out straight discount rather than Optus' on going model of giving out store credits / reward points which they buy with discount. As Goodfellha pointed out, if I was going to suck into this garbage, may as well go with Harvey Norman.
