10GB (or More) Free Bonus Data for Existing amaysim Customers

Just logged in to my amaysim account and found an extra 10GB data added to my 2GB Unlimited Plan. Could not find any mention anywhere, no email, no text. No idea until when it is valid but my guess would be till the expiry of current active plan.

Please check your account if you received too?

Likely to be targeted but looking at their generosity in the past, it may be well for all users. The Higher Unlimited Plans would be having more data (based on previous such offers)

    although better than nothing, i guess most ppl are staying at home with wifi now and can hardly use any mobile data…

    • Yes. I've used so little mobile data in the last ~4 months!

    My brother has 2gb unlimited and he said they added 10gb as well! He also said last month they added 20gb but it got removed when the month refreshed.

    Amaysim has been randomly bumping up my family’s accounts since COVID hit.

    Some months is 5gig other times it’s 10. And my family is on different sized accounts.

    So it’s random. And we’re really thankful!

  • Nothing here, just the standard 2GB, which I accidentally burnt within the first couple of days because my laptop was paired to it. I've been living 2 weeks without data. Ouch! Have been planning to port to Catch Connect but will hang on if Amaysim bump my data.

  • These recent "free" offerings from Amaysim (and other mobile network providers) are genius. They know they can give away truckloads of data when demand is low (because most people are on their home networks) without it costing them anymore. Then get people used to having huge data plans and when things get back to normal they can watch the money flow in from customers using up their allowance in record time!

        Agree. Just pointing it out. I wouldn't be doing my duty as an ozbargainer if I wasn't calling out potential pitfalls in a "deal".

    • Bonus Data only. But I think they do so only when you have an active Unlimited Pla on your SIM, so you would already be having Australia Calls and SMS - Unlimited Talk & Text

  • Anyone on PAYG, who has already paid $10, but then have a $20 pending charge?

    Amaysim livechat are unable to assist until the $20 pending charge is realised, on an invoice
