Someone must be watching my search history, cheaper elsewhere but I'm not saying where until I but one. Saw and battery for $450.

Yep i would secure my order before posting as well.. jus saying

      • Looks like sold out so this is the cheapest

  • Great saw, just make sure you have plenty of chain oil on hand…..

  • If I do recall correctly, according to Ol' Uncle Bumblef… A certain Youtuber. This saw weren't very skookum.

    • ah another AvE fan. It's weird how just a few words gave the channel away :)

    • I have this chainsaw and Dewalt has updated the plastic/knob nut that clamps the bar down. They have eliminated the ratcheting function allowing you to clamp on the bar with more force.

I too was disappointed when I watched Ave's video, and trust his wisdom. But I brought one anyway as I'm already in the Flexvolt system.

  • Bunnings were selling these for $449 as their standard price a couple weeks, regret not pulling the trigger then.
Got a price match with Sydney Tools in hopes Sydney Tools were going to do their in store credits for $500, $750 etc spends which didn't happen.

    • Bunnings wouldn't do 10% off price match?

    • If you want a price match from Sydney Tools, unfortunately they won't do the store credit on Bonus Points. It is their T&Cs.

      - If you request a price match for an item on promotion (with bonus credit or bonus products), our staff reserve the right to provide you either a price match for the item or the item on promotion. You cannot receive both.v

      • Yes found out that Sydney Tools didn't do a price match and store credits at the time, but it didn't matter as they didn't do the store credit sale

  • Skin only? How much for one that does flesh and bone too? Asking for a friend.

  • Picked up the Ego 56V + 5AH 450mm,charger , EGO 56V 300mm Bike Handle Brushcutter Skin ,Bonus 56V 2.5AH for $903 last month. I'm on 10Ha , so now wife and kids (15 yr) can get to work, rather than relying on me to get 2 stroke equipment going.

This deal $499+$150+charger… prob a good deal if you already have Dewalt charger etc. But for a Dewalt noob is meh!
