    I swear someone in the forums were asking for what type of adapter end they had, and I feel it looks like this?

    Check compatibility. I've got one lying around at home because it didn't fit the D90

    DSLRs:
    * D3200
    * D3300
    * D5200
    * D7100

  • So, this plugs into the camera so you can move photos taken to a smartphone? I was sort of hoping it made the camera capable of uploading from the camera itself.

      Capabilities you can exploit -
      Extract the photos from the camera to your phone for quick viewing.
      Remote trigger
      Remote screen view (good for sneaky clicks of birds).

  • I bought it quite earlier, didn't use it much :( as I couldn't find any valid use case as 99% of the time I end just transferring the files via card at the end. The only use case was remote trigger. Warning, it drains battery a lot!

  • Hi all, I also have this for my Nikon D3300 - definitely useful for downloading photos off the DSLR for quick view. I bought a separate thing for remote shooting which has a timer so i can take time lapse photos.

    However, i did find the sofware you need with crashes on my Android phone about 30 / 40% of the time; which is really frustrating. On the iPhone it is more stable.

    • I also have this and the software is junk :-(((( sometimes works, mostly doesn't. I rarely have success downloading more than 5 photos at once. I'm using android

  • on my 7100 it works, but painfully slow.
