  Just putting up my personal experience the last few years, have had several Sandisk flash memory based devices fail, probably as much as 10-20%.
  I've personally gone away from them completely.

  Was once a time i used nothing but Sandisk, but it seems their quality isn't what it was.

    Yep - same. I moved to Samsung instead a couple of years ago. Haven't done a comparison lately, but the sealer for me was when I wanted a card for a dashcam and compared the endurance cards and found the Sandisk had half the estimated life span of the Samsung - I think that kinda sums it up.

    Can confirm have also had one of my SanDisk randomly fail a few years back. Made the switch to samsung.

    Can confirm similar experiences for me too.

    Had a Note 4 a few years back with a 128GB SD fail on me and lose most of my videos and photos, so never purchased another from then. Had cheaper HDs and memory cards never fail.

    Are Samsung MicroSD cards generally more reliable then SanDisk cards?

    Yes. Note that the Galaxy Note 10 (non Plus) does not have expandable storage at all.

  I literally bought one last night at full price from Amazon as the Samsung in my car Dashcam has failed:(
  Luckily Amazon do free returns so I ordered the 2nd and will return the original when it arrives tomorrow.
