Looking for a hair dryer that is relatively quiet when being used as my kid gets scared from the sound. Don't want to spend too much money on it and would prefer if its compact e.g. travel size. Can anyone recommend something like this?
Hair Dryer Thats Quiet - as Cheap as Possible
Comments
I've tried but they run away out of the bathroom even when im just drying my own hair
Then they have wet hair…………..
Do you have any towels? I believe they can be used to remove moisture from hair……
Of course i have been using towels to dry their hair, but would like a faster method. The responses im getting are unhelpful, as if im asking for pigs to fly.
Is there no product available?@sagrules: Without being rude, the answers are skirting around what we are trying to say, which is "learn to parent"
hmm just introduce it to them in a fun way.
some parents would kill for their kids to get out of the bathroom when they are getting ready.
Unless your kid has SPD, in which case it's unlikely they will ever get used to it. The combination of fast and quiet is rare, adding cheap to the mix will be difficult. I do hear the Dysons are very fast drying at low speed.
A hood dryer bonnet might muffle the sound? Plus the hilarity of the sight might make the kid enjoy hair drying despite the sound?
Maybe use some of the cotton wool that's surrounding them, and put it in their ears.
Use a Towel.
(Quietly).Dyson ones are relatively quiet though not cheap.
You want cheap small and quiet. Ok, im on it…. Brb…
Mate it's been 24 hours, how come you haven't invented the worlds first high-flow-silent-low-cost-240v fan yet!? /s
Shave their heads and if anyone asks why just tell them you belong to the Hare Krishna Movement.

$17 at HN but $19.95 everywhere else.
Bought this to replace my old compact remington D1500.
It's unfortunately bigger but quieter.Thank you, will check it out
Use a vacuum.
Get your kids used to the sound.
