Suggestions for an good external USB DVD/CD Drive for use with a Notebook has to be able to read/write CD's & DVD's

  I have this one; I haven't burnt any discs on it, but great for playback of DVDs. $28 is insanely cheap if you get it delivered with Prime; I thought I had a good deal when I asked JB Hi-Fi for their best price from $59 and they said $51… Apparently the LG website says it retails for $89 :/

    Does the LG Super-Multi Portable DVD Rewriter,GP60NB50 need 2 USB connections (1 for power & 1 for data) to run as I notice some of them require it ?

I bought this model from Budget PC a couple of years ago for $19. Only used it a few times, but seems to be fine
