But it's the cheapest they've ever been!!!1!
It's a deal, just not a very good one.
Sucks how bad they are :-(
Was really hoping they would be good. Classic Google
are they bad? early reviews looked promising i was waiting for aus release.
what's bad apart from battery life?
there is heaps of discussion (especially on the reddit google subreddits) about the endless problems theyve been experiencing. stuff like hissing noises when nothing is playing, random earbud disconnections and having issues re-pairing the singular bud, tinny noise etc.
google have promised a big update to address the issues in like 6-8 weeks i think? although im not hopeful since theyve said that many times and have seemingly no affect. However, its hard to tell how big of a percentage are the people with problems. Apparently google customer service arent very helpful either
im willing to give it a go and keep sending it back maybe lol
good to know, i'll wait out for the update.
I've been having a lot of connectivity issues with powerbeats pro and thought these would be the replacement. i guess i'll keep waiting
Ive had mine for a couple of weeks and there was a firmware update out of the box, haven't experienced any of the issues listed.
Not sure why someone gave a neg. for this.
@Lan Mandragoran: Haha who knows!
They are bad. Tons of issues, don't buy it, it's more problem than its worth.
What makes you say they're bad? All the reviews i've seem say great things about them.
What exactly are you basing this on?
I negged you btw.
On buying them for a lot of money, using them for almost a week, having nothing but issues, now issues than my cheap qcy. The sound quality or ability is comparable to the free wired earbuds you get with a phone, i constantly had to put the bus back in the case to try and get them both to work, between every silence I got a very loud static sound.
not a deal mate. just their release price (although i did order one this morning)
Not sure if this actually classifies as a deal
Then why did you post it?
Will stick with my galaxy buds plus.
Oz RRP
Retail price is not a deal.
This is not a deal. Should we post a deal every time Coles stocks their shelves?
Yes
Is it bargain price? Is it cheaper than other website?
Thanks OP.
Posting when something becomes available for the first time in Australia, should be allowed in OzB. Am I the only one that likes to use OzB to stay on top of both bargains and also new products/services?
I see some new products and services as great deals compared to existing products/services.
This isn't a news site.
We post things that are discounted.
OzB is a news site about bargains.
8 days later you reply….
Explains alot.
Plenty of tech blogs and mailing lists for that
Selling RRP is not bargain.
The deal is for pixel buds not rrp
After copping the OzAvailable posts on the Switch for months I can tolerate this, but I don’t think these posts are what we come here for
How's this better?
They are in high demand, they aren't getting driven up by scalpers….
Perhaps because it’s not the 449th time…
I'll wait for the pros to get some ANC action.
From reviews, they're good.
However, THIS IS NOT A DEAL.
Use the forum if you want to "inform" people that something has just been released.
It's not a deal.
