I know it's hard to be excited by ironing, but I picked up a GC4856 (RRP $119) from Good Guys for $93, + cash back = $73.

    Picked up GC9140 for 399(so 299 after cash back).

    Also, Philips were very fast with the cash back. Time between claim submission and cheque dispatch (can choose EFT) was about 1 week.

      I tried to price match the GC9140 at Myer in Brissy, they said 399 was under cost and they could only do 449… I'll try the good guys this evening

          Just unpacked and tried the GC9140…
          Very disappointed, it is extremely noisy, is that normal? Every 2-3 minutes, it makes a big BRRRRZZZZ… I wrote to the tech support and they are saying this is normal and is the noise of the pump pumping the water… it is very loud though, is it that hard to make a silent pump?? Have you noticed the same problem?

    Thanks for the post. Just picked up GC4865 (RRP 139.95) for $79 at Myers and $10 cashback makes it $69. Sweet.

    Funny thing though is that even though GC4865 is on sale at Myers till 23rd Oct, there is no stock online and no price markdowns in store as well. It was stored in a corner without any price tag, but it couldn't escape my "steamy" eyes.

    Target's catalogue starting Thursday, 20th oct has the GC3540 on sale: 50% off - RRP: $119 - now $59…. add in the cash back of $10 becomes $49.
