for ps3 there is no region locking.

This game is very different to black ops, its not made by trayach. dont judge this one by black ops, that would be ignorant and foolish.

Yes, but after a large range of scandals after the release of MW2, Infinity Ward are quite broken and a lot of the team have moved to a new developer.
The quality of MW3 remains to be seen really. It could go either way.
black ops was not by infinity ward and that seemed to be pretty successful…
Yes Black Ops was designed and created by monkeys, and yes Infinity Ward have created great games in the past (namely COD4), but Vince Zampella and Jason West (former lead designers) have both been fired from IW, along with the lead developers leaving on their own accord.
I wouldn't be surprised if MW3 was just 'another rehash' of the MW series.
I'll be putting ALL my chips on BF3 this year.

Nope I completely trust DICE, and I was impressed with the Beta.
COD4 was one of my favorite games ever. I pre-ordered BlOps; only to be very disappointed by the quality of the game, but it was mainly the stability that annoyed me.
I had a mid level system, that it should have worked fine on; but no dice. Tried rebuilds (XP -> Win 7), other video cards to no avail.
Worst spend of $90 (or whatever it was) ever.
This time, I need them to prove that it will work first.
I am not sure if it's foolish; I would say "once bitten, twice shy".
In the mean time, bring on BF3.

Though, you can always get it online, and when it comes out get it from EB games, then take it back within 7 days and get your money back.
It's a bit wrong, I don't see to much harm as long as you take it back in good condition. For a game like MW3 it's not worth paying an extra $10.
Don't know why douchebags are negging your post. I do that all the time - The EB 7 day rental and then take it back, and usually only have to wait a day or two after that for my cheaper import copy to arrive

I asked eb games about it.,they said they can't match, price match is supposed to be within the centre only, so being the only game shop at rhodes,.guess they dont have to match anything.they said ps3 mw3 game only would be 115$…. And the retail industry complains…i wonder why

PC the same price? Considering the PC variation is normally 10$ cheaper then the console equivelant, it makes me think they don't want people buying it.
