Hi team,
I'm in market for a dishwasher, but a bit stuck on how to go about the plumbing.
There's a great spot in the laundry (which joins to kitchen) for the dishwasher, next to the washing machine.
The washing machine only uses the cold water tap and has a drainage pipe which goes into a dedicated hole in adjacent sink.
My question is - is there a way to convert the cold water tap into a fork - a double adaptor of sorts?
Or can the dishwasher plug into the hot water pipe?
The other thing is that the drainage hole in the sink would be too small for two pipes of that size. Is there a way to piggyback them? Or is the dishwasher one generally much smaller?
I've been getting mixed ideas online and am a little stumped!
Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Plenty of y or t pieces at Bunnings that should do the job of "double adaptor."
Dishwasher drain usually connects to a barb just below the sink drain.
