Hi, we are replacing bathroom ceiling and consequently have the opportunity to replace existing fluorescent strip lighting. Would like some ideas for ceiling lights which are as bright as the fluorescent strips but 'prettier'. We don't really want dome lights as they don't appear to be very bright nor do we fancy inbuilt spotlights. We don't need the exhaust function as it's a downstairs bathroom with only the mid-storey cavity to exhaust out to - I presume this is a no no. We don't need the heat function either as it's a very high ceiling. Any ideas for reasonably priced lighting along these lines would be appreciated. We live in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney.
