This link backs up the product claims.

      • However, it states you need minimum 1% solution.

Basically, whatever amount contained within this pillow would probably be useless.

You’ve linked to an article that actually states that there are benefits from hyaluronic acid. In fact the whole article is quite complimentary towards hyaluronic acid and doesn’t really lead one to conclude it’s ‘snake oil’.

      • +1

Common thing from people who claim everything and anything skincare related as "snake oil". Haven't even mastered primary school comprehension yet is qualified enough to be an armchair doctor.

Not everything is and isn't snake oil.

I tend to agree. Won’t it just wash out the first time you wash it? Just buy some in a bottle!

    • +2

I agree. It is a gentle silk pillow case that will cause less wrinkles, because your face/head does not drag across it and crease/stretch the skin…anything else claimed is total BS. It would be the same as any other silk pillow case that costs less…

    • Guys who say the article supports the product havent read it clearly enough. HYA in the body vs on a pillowcase is completely different. Re-read it again please, especially the dude stating primary school comprehension.

      • First comment was about calling hyaluronic acid snake oil and linked to an article about HA. Note, HA, not the pillowcase.

No one said the article supports the product ie. Pillowcase.

The article supports hyaluronic acid. The article doesn't even mention pillowcase 😂🤦‍♂️

        • Dude, if you're actually read the article instead of doing a quick skim, you would have seen the following paragraph which says it all -

"Hyaluronic acid is a macromolecule, meaning its molecules are large in terms of molecular size—too large to effectively be absorbed into the skin. Topically applied hyaluronic acid isn't going to increase your skin's natural stores of hyaluronic acid."

That tells you all you need to know about whether its going to work on a pillowcase or not. Maybe your primary school comprehension wasn't quite mastered eh?

          • @clubhonda: Just realised that you made the first comment.

If you bothered to keep reading, you would have seen the seen the following:

Hyaluronic acid's claim to fame is its ability to improve the skin's hydration levels.3 Hyaluronic acid is a humectant, meaning it draws water to it and helps the skin to hold onto
Apply a topical hyaluronic acid product, and it will help pull moisture from the deeper layers of the skin to infuse the top layers of the skin with moisture. If you live in a humid area, it can also help pull water from the air into your skin.

Hyaluronic acid products also help reduce transepidermal water loss. This is another way of saying that it helps keep water in your skin, rather than letting it evaporate out into the air.

In another words, it's not used to provide hydration by being absorbed into the skin. It's a humectant.

Had you said that HA is not snake oil, but a HA pillowcase could be a snake oil, I would reply differently. But your comment implies that Hyaluronic acid and everything under HA is snake oil, which is incorrect as shown in your own link.

I'll give you a grade D for participating.

            • @Ughhh: Erm… here is my exact sentence "Bullshit product no better than snake oil. You must think ozbargainers are idiots." Pay particular attention to the word P-R-O-D-U-C-T.

What's your comment - again exact quote "Had you said that HA is not snake oil, but a HA pillowcase could be a snake oil, I would reply differently. But your comment implies that Hyaluronic acid and everything under HA is snake oil, which is incorrect as shown in your own link."

So whoooooo needs to master primary school comprehension? lol

  • Do i get my money back if it is not working?

    • of course :)
