I thought I'd do a static ice search on the new Ryzen CPU's and two were listed at CPL.
3600XT $409
3800XT $659
They were on CPL's site for a while too. Gone now though.

3600XT is +$30 on 3600X and +$109 on 3600. Compared to 3600X it's not bad.
You could basically pay around 10% more and jump from the 3600XT to the 3700X and the 3800XT to the 3900X.
My motherboard limits PBO to +200mhz over stock boost, I think this is true for most motherboards. The XT therefore would be of benefit to any less than all core and non-sustained workloads.
I've already arranged with someone to buy my 3600, so the XT will cost me ~$200 depending what other stores are selling for and shipping. Which is about what the 2600->3600 changeover price was for me.
Plus if you just wanted to use the cooler that came with it a 3700x would be a better option imo as the 3600xt doesn't come with one.
XTs are just a refresh. Wait for next generation, won't be too far away unless you are desperate.
But then it is coming from someone who is still on i5 Haswell.
You're waiting for the upcoming Ryzen 6000 series.
4000s. 6000s is probably 2 years away.
Woosh
Hmm. Way overpriced ATM. We'll see if they come closer to the non-xt parts once they are widely available.
