Dehumidifier Recommendation for Bedroom

Hi all,

Looking for a dehumidifier for the kids bedroom.

Any suggestions.

  Goes alright for the master bedroom.

      I think mine was closer to 450 after shpback at the time. But yes its not cheap.

  I bought Hysure dehumidifier from Amazon.
  It's half of the price of other brands for the same capacity.

  The Ausclimate ones are not very well reviewed by Choice.

  In order, Choice recommends:

  Ionmax ION632 83%
  Ionmax ION612 82%
  Dimplex GDDE50E 79%
  DeLonghi DD30P 78%
  Ionmax ION610 75%

  What climate are you in? The compressor ones work better in warmer climates, and the dessicant ones work better (more consistently pulling water from the air) in colder climates…

  Had big issue with condensation pooling on the window ledge.

  I bought the Hysure Dehumidifier 700ml compact unit and it's currently placed in the master bedroom. I have a hygrometer too.

  The unit is just enough to bring the humidity down in the room when no one is in it, but we notice the increase when we're (my wife and I) in the room at which point the unit is unable to keep the moisture down or steady. It may be that it's a slower increase, but I was hoping that it would manage the moisture to a 'normal' level.

  In short, that unit is too weak/small such that I'll be returning it for a bigger and/or more powerful one.
