Synology Cheapest Intel-Based - E.g. DS218+

I'm looking for an Intel-based Synology NAS. I believe the DS218+ should be the cheapest, and currently:

• Small eBay dealer: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Synology-DiskStation-DS218-2-Bay… $453 delivered to NSW

• Computer Alliance: https://www.computeralliance.com.au/parts?id=21913 $465 delivered to NSW

• Mwave: https://www.mwave.com.au/product/synology-diskstation-ds218-… $469 NSW pickup

Are there any better deals?

Also, is this a good price, or should I try and wait for a better deal? Think it could get around the $420 or so mark?

  I had bought it for about $380 from Computer Alliance (I had posted the deal here as well), so if you can wait I reckon you should.

  Just wait for a sale then it will be even cheaper. The ds918+ has been as low as $305. So who knows what prices the DS218+ could be set at.

      Just checked that last deal and had no idea it was a Price Error. Normally deals with pricing error have the title updated. Anyway if OP is not desperate he could just wait for a 15% or 20% ebay deal.

  Actually arm64 has a good performance as well unless you need to run a windows virtual machine.
