[PC] Origin - Command & Conquer Remastered Collection - $25.34 (active HB Choice required) - Humble Bundle

190

Slightly cheaper than getting it on Steam if you don't mind Origin. Personally I don't care as Origin is where the original C&C Collection also lives. 😉

  • Strange…I have a HB choice sub, and the price is $26.21 for me.

    • You have to change the default percentages: all to discount.

Honestly buying in steam would be a much better option… origin is even worse than epic

    • +1

      In what way?
All my other EA games are in Origin - wouldn't it make sense to have them all there?

      • +1

The steam experience is just so much better with steam link, controller mapping for other than Xbox (PS4, switch) and the achievements just makes a game purchased on steam seem so much richer as an experience

        • +1

I wouldn't use a controller here but I get the rest

          • +2

@scuderiarmani: Coincidentally I think I remember playing this on the Saturn when it first came out.. but yeah controller probably not optimal

  • +4

EA did a fantastic job on the remaster. I have played something like 50 hours of multiplayer.

  • +3

If you buy it through Steam you get Mod support through Steam Workshop. Not sure if Origin provides the same thing?

    • +1

      it's $25.45 through Steam until 10 July

    • +2

Definitely worth the extra $0.11 for Steam Workshop support and no HB choice requirement 👍

Although if Origin did offer workshop i'd prefer it to Steam since I have the other C&C Complete Collection on it.

  • Is this the one with Tanya?

    Cha-ching!!!!!

  • Hey all, Unfortunately, I have a MAC and not in a position to buy another computer.

I tried to use Virtualbox but it was really slow.

Anyone successfully set up something on their mac to play this?

    • It tried a trial of Parallels 15 and it was ok after I reduced the screen resolution to 2k. I didn’t end up buying parallels so I’ve just been using boot camp.
