How do I turn off the swipe right on Android 10 which displays garbage news I hate accidentally doing it and then getting presented with irrelevant factoids about the world richest people.

if only it was that easy on chrome. you can only hide.
Pro tip, use Brave & Firefox instead of chrome. It's a garbage browser now.
brave doesn't have the same sync features as chrome.
I use Firefox but Google are slow to give them the same experience chrome has with their products such as google.com. looks ancient.
Omg it works thank you so much!!!
You're welcome. I'm not a big fan of it either. Always seems to recommend clickbaity and irrelevant articles that I have no interest in.
It might seem like that at first but if you hit the 3 dot on articles/news feeds you don't like you can update the algorithm that feeds those to you. I have a handy quit 'whats going on in what I'm interested in' news section now. YMMMV
