These are excellent for drinking now, not too sure about cellaring (i'll leave it to the wine experts)
I got 3 x 2017, 2 x 2016 and 1 x 2013 for the black label worth $270 added up, and is the cheapest combination they gave me, so you might get lucky

At it's full retail price it definitely is overpriced.
But at $30 its not too bad IMO. I've had plenty of far worse wines that cost $30 from Dan's. I had a Grey Label cellar release from Dan's that was $50 and I really enjoyed it
I really enjoy they greys but I'd love some suggestions for something similar with a cheaper price tag since people are labelling it overpriced

I received the 2016 grey labels, and 2012 black label this time anyway, so very close to the same as previous deal for me. 5+1 as opposed to 6+1 would make packing/shipping much easier, maybe that was a factor. Cashback seemed to have been 'fixed' though

$30 doesn’t get you much of a bottle of wine at a bar compared to drink at home …….
and beer wise ….slab of furphy is $49 at dans or bws drive through ….it’s $5 stubby at a bar …..equivalent of $120 slab ……

as was explained to to me by a colleague
“ if people come to your house, they will drink your booze, if they brought some of their own they will still drink your booze when they run out, at a bar it costs more but people pay for what they drink, even with rounds, and you can leave when you want but it’s harder to evict friends after a few beers”.
i personally find it cheaper to supply booze when friends visit, as most will bring 6 pack or a bottle anyway, it’s the eviction that gets tricky.
