Games with Gold in Foreign Stores - Why Only Works Sometimes?

I have at times obtained games from stores other than AU, such as this one; https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/541344

Korea and Japan both currently have Darksiders which I do not have. When I attempt to purchase it the confirmation price comes up as AU$29.95

  360 games don't seem to purchase internationally at all, where One games will work okay
