  Are there any monitors out with HDMI 2.1 support? Most i see only have HDMI 2.0. That may be enough for 1440p 120hz, but if XBOX series x were to support ultra widescreen monitors then monitors like the Odyssey G9 would likely require HDMI 2.1.

  Another option would be a HDMI 2.1 to Displayport adapter which supports 4k 120 but i have not seen any as of yet.

  Hi, I was lucky enough to preorder an Xbox Series X and am also looking for a monitor for it. I play a variety of games but would like high refresh rate for competitive shooters like COD.

  I reckon I'll get the AOC 24G2. It has:

  • IPS Panel
    -144hz Refresh Rate
  • Full HD
  • Freesync

  Any reason not to get this for the Series X. It should be compatible with the Series X.

      Well the thing is. The Xbox won't be powerful enough to do 4k 120fps. So I think I'll get:

      1080p/120hz monitor for competitive gaming

      And later

      A 4k 60fps TV for adventure games
