$129 at JB Hi-Fi or Amazon looks to be the only current option, use a discounted gift card or cashback to bring the price down a little.
As an OzBargain’er I wouldn’t pay a cent over $69, which is the cheapest I have seen them in the past.
Unless you’re really looking for the simulated 7.1 that works on a limited number of games or slightly better integration with the PlayStation itself, I would look at other options.
Have you tried a wired pair of headphones? They will need an in-line mic for game chat, but the cable is not as annoying as you might expect because it plugs into your controller.
That’s all I’ve been seeing for months now is $129.
I currently have the 2.0 headphones and they are due to be replaced.
You are right, $69 feels like a price they might pop up for seeing they got really cheap when they came out.
Also I’m only using them for FIFA Online vs a mate and not wanting a headphone that has the microphone sticking out.
