  • +27

This is probably going to be like the eBay Plus deals but on steroids.

      Comment of the day

    • +4

Sounds more similar to the recent comp ozb ran tbh

  • +44

Isn’t this a competition rather than a bargain since you have to click around their page to win a voucher?

    • New version since around eight months ago. It's also meant for layering rather than to be used on it's own.

  • +9

    So… It's a pixel hunt competition?

  • +7

Should this be in competitions rather than deals then??

  • Thanks OP

  • so it starts at 10 am each day? I take it they will all be gone at about 10.05?

    • +10

      Don't you mean 10:00:05am?

      • you mean 1000 bots takes more than 1 second?

  • +1

it will be epic if the things get out of stock while many people have unredeemed codes

  • +1

This is like the Ebay Plus competition but free.

  • +2

    Their website is sooooooo bad

    • facepalm

    • Australian's support severely damaging the economy through privatisation which happens because they lose their own money in the arrangements.

Don't expect any wisdom from the brainwashed masses, they're too busy insisting that world record prices are actually cheap and that the most inefficient sector in the country is efficient because a moronic theory says so.

    • +2

not sure if you noticed but that horse has already bolted, has found families and babies, those babies had more families and kids, and their great grand kids has already had more families and kids?

    • even if what you're saying isn't stupid (it is), how is it supporting them if you're getting it for free?????

      • -2

anything that made in China freely given is still made in China unless you are selfish enough to just think for your own pleasure of having free gift while China is destroying the life of people of HongKong and the world. Also , how can we keep accepting China made products That provides money to China govt. while China holding Australia in ransom ?? Will we be happy accepting products freely made in North Korea ? Australia is my adopted country and I support Australia and against China made wholly.

  • +2

These tops will keep you warm, but they will absolutely stink by the end of the day.

If you have the cash, I'd recommend a visit to icebreaker.

    • +1

yeah Icebreaker are pretty darn good

    • +2

That's strange. I wear these and they smell fine after a day.

Maybe depends on each person's body?

      • Mind, I was on holiday and it was like -20 and I was walking around a lot of the day.

        • Ah I see. I don't think I've ever had to use them for a temperature that low.

The lowest I've had to use them was winter in Japan.

I guess they're not good enough as a real thermal layer during really low temps

    • Merino is definitely better but Icebreaker (I have quite a few of their garments) are very expensive, even for Merino wool. There are other Merino options around, Aldi had merino thermal T-Shirts for $40 ish last weekend I think.

      • i don't get what you mean. icebreaker is merino, no?

        • Yes Icebreaker are New Zealand Merino wool but they are very expensive. There are cheaper Merino wool tops that do the same thing but dont have the Icebreaker brand

  • +2

I feel like I'm the only person who hates these Heattech garments. They actually make me feel colder. e.g. if I wear a Heattech bottom underneath trackies, I feel a chill every time there's any contact between the two. As far as I'm concerned these are rubbish thermals.

    • +3

Pretty sure you are the only person :)

    • yep, I would go to a dermatologist and have your skin inspected

    • I agree, they suck. Nasty synthetic material is uncomfortable, feels cold and also gets smelly as above poster said. Very overpriced for what they are, but Uniqlo is getting that way with all their stuff. Merino thermals are the way to go.

    • -1

Synthetic is the best for active wear IMO, which is where these would be best IMO. A lot of people on here will never fit into these.

Cotton does breath, but it absorbs. You get sweat patches.

    • They work great for me.

Works great when I don't want to have to many outer layers.

    • +3

Are you sure you're not wearing the Uniqlo Airism range? They look exactly the same as the HeatTech range but cool you down.

  • +1

Got a few heat tech T-shirts from years ago, pretty good for layers and around the house

  • +2

    Let the games begin

  • +1

I'm thinking a lot of people who get their hands on these have no hope of fitting into them… base layer tight fit / athletic fit.

    • I think you're thinking about Reddit.

Ozbargainers seem pretty normal and fit to me.

At least from the meet ups I've been to.

  • grest

  • Do they make these for men?

  • +3

won't look great on you fat blokes, just sayin…

    • +2

wont look good for us then

  • The website looks very cool

  • +1

i bought a bunch of them when on sale $9.90, they're thin but surprisingly warm

    • when was the sale. at $9.90 that sounds like 50% off?

      • They start at $14.90

  • do you need an account to play the game?

  • +1

    This is 100% a comp
You have a chance to win a voucher to claim for a Top

  • When companies start paying you because your information and personal details are more valuable than the product itself.

  • Thanks for sharing

  • Yeah, they had this promo previously. You just move through the "game"/animation, finding the HeatTech zone. Because the game is very easy to win, they ran out of codes quickly.

    • How fast is quickly ?

      • I was a few hours late, that's what I remember. Think I only got the consolation code.

        • Well at 2000/day you have a decent chance of winning

    • Do you need to make an account and login first?

  • I like these cheap polyester thermals for wearing around the home. Got a couple of $10 Kathmandu thermals just for that.

Bought a couple of icebreaker thermals from amazon for $28 a while ago. Those are warm but ticklish to the skin. Not for lounge wear. Great for outdoors when you need to battle the cold.

  • +2

    Server not found hahahaha!

  • not working

  • +2

They haven't learned from two years ago.

  • It's taking so long to load…

  • After a few attempts I got to the 'How to play' screen. then site died again

  • Anybody got in?

  • +5

I got in and finished the game but the site went down when it was loading whatever page was to come next.

    • What was the game like?

      • +1

I'll upload screenshot. You just move your cursor around until you find the extra warm, ultra warm and heattech warm. Very easy.

        Edit: Screenshot 1 and 2

        • All good I managed to play as well, couldn't get to the finish page

  • Loaded a blank void for me… Nothing to find

  • its some game, move cursor to find the warm spots on the page

  • same as others, got the three coins but then the site went down. Your cursor just changes colour warmer/colder

  • +4

Played the game, found all three, then the site crashed

    • Same here

    • Got all the way to filling out my details and then it crashed again…

  • Uhh, getting warmer…
